Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out what you and your users may and may not do with LicenceGuard. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Use LicenceGuard lawfully

  • Only add personal data you are entitled to process, and tell your workforce how you use it.
  • Do not use LicenceGuard to discriminate unlawfully, including in how you carry out or record Right to Work checks.
  • Do not use LicenceGuard to store or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights.

Keep accounts secure

  • Each user must have their own login. Do not share accounts or passwords.
  • Give users only the access they need, and remove access promptly when someone leaves.
  • Tell us straight away if you think an account has been compromised.

Do not misuse the service

  • Do not attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours, or to get around permissions or security controls.
  • Do not probe, scan or test the security of LicenceGuard without our written permission. If you find a vulnerability, report it to [email protected].
  • Do not upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt or damage the service.
  • Do not overload the service with automated requests, scraping or excessive use.
  • Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from LicenceGuard.

If this policy is broken

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other customers or individuals, as described in our Terms of Service. Questions: [email protected].
