Built around care
The records care providers are asked for
Residential and domiciliary care providers carry some of the heaviest workforce compliance in the UK. LicenceGuard keeps it in one place.
DBS for every worker
Level, certificate, renewal date and Update Service for each care worker, with reminders before renewals are due.
Right to Work, including sponsored staff
Checks recorded with full history, expiry reminders, and sponsor duties for sponsored care workers.
Training that stays in date
Mandatory training and certifications tracked with expiry dates; the care worker is reminded before anything lapses.
Induction
Induction pipelines with ordered stages, including a default aligned to the Care Certificate, with progress tracked per person.
Policies, acknowledged
Publish policies, including a CQC category, and see exactly who has read and acknowledged them.
Supervision and one-to-ones
Schedule and record one-to-one meetings and keep performance reviews and goals on file.
Agency and engaged workers
Agency staff and contractors recorded with their supplier and right to work status.
Shifts and timesheets
Shift templates and rosters, clocking from any device, and weekly timesheets.
Inspection ready
Show your evidence, not your spreadsheets.
When someone asks how you know your staff are checked, trained and supervised, the answer is on one screen.

Independent software
LicenceGuard is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Care Quality Commission. The readiness score is an internal guide to help you prioritise, not a CQC rating, and it does not predict inspection outcomes.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is LicenceGuard approved by the CQC?
No. LicenceGuard is independent software and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the CQC. It helps you keep and evidence the workforce records inspectors commonly ask about.
Does it support the Care Certificate?
LicenceGuard includes a default induction pipeline with ordered stages aligned to the Care Certificate, and you can build your own pipelines. It tracks each person’s progress; it does not award the certificate.
Can we track agency staff?
Yes. Agency staff and other engaged workers are kept in their own register with right to work status.
We sponsor care workers. Does LicenceGuard help?
Yes. Sponsor duty workflows, role reviews and salary checks sit alongside your care workforce records.
