Refund and Cancellation Policy
How to cancel LicenceGuard, what happens to your access and data, and when refunds apply.
Contents
Cancelling during your free trial
Cancel at any time during your 14-day free trial and you will not be charged. You keep access until the trial period ends.
Cancelling a paid subscription
You can cancel at any time. There is no annual contract. Your subscription remains available until the end of your current paid billing period, and you will not be charged again after that.
How to cancel
Cancel from the billing settings in your LicenceGuard account, or email [email protected] from an account administrator’s email address.
Refunds
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. We do not normally refund part-used billing periods or unused seats, and seats you remove stop at your next billing date rather than being refunded for the current period. If you have been charged in error, for example twice for the same period, contact [email protected] and we will put it right.
LicenceGuard is sold to businesses and organisations, so the consumer cancellation rights that apply to purchases by individuals do not apply.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we retry it over the next 7 days and email you, and your account stays fully usable meanwhile. If it is still unpaid, your subscription ends and the account becomes read-only for 7 days, then locked. Your data is kept for six months and then anonymised; subscribing again before then restores access.
Your data after cancellation
Export anything you need before your access ends. After a subscription ends, your organisation’s data is kept for six months and then anonymised by a scheduled process.
